the DESIGNER + MAKER
Brand and website designer by day,
Fiber artist by night.
Hello and welcome! I'm Sarah, the textile designer and maker behind TwigBerryStudio. I’ve been creating things with my hands for as far back as I can remember. After college, I worked as a seamstress for several years sewing Colonial period costumes. And I’ve taught knitting and crochet classes, too.
After opening a shop to sell my handmade bags and scarves, I narrowed my focus to designing tools and materials to help other makers create works of art, too. I love inspiring people to make beautiful things, and I started publishing my knit + crochet patterns, sewing project bags, and hand-dying cozy, soft yarn to do just that.
As a full-time brand and website designer, I love using those skills to hone my fiber color palettes, design knitwear that looks “just right,” and creating packaging that feels like an experience to open.
I take projects with me everywhere (hence my project bags), and my favorite colors include rust, moss green, grey, and mustard; I love those earthy tones! Can you tell?

TwigBerryStudio is a shop where yarn, loops, and aesthetics combine to please the eye. It springs from my love of making things and my goal to nestle handmade products into daily life.
My designs feature influences of nature with a cozy modern twist, and detailed craftsmanship is at the root of my handmade process.
